Our fantastic young people spent a day of their half-term break taking on the tech-task of repairing a retro games console, with our Repair Cafe. The young people faced new challenges of figuring out how to put together a console whilst also needing to work out a few minor faults with it. They watched a video explaining the technical details of the challenge, worked individually and together supporting each other. Once completed they were able to play the game. The feedback from the young people was very positive, they all enjoyed the challenge and playing the game afterwards. Some comments included; “It was good fun, I enjoyed playing the game console and think the game is fun and better than some of the modern games.”
We look forward to our next Repair Cafe where we will have new and exciting challenges. Thank You to all that attended and the excellent feedback you gave us.
