Sheppey Matters facilitated another successful trip for the young people of Sheppey. We enjoyed a fantastic day trip to Wildwood, an experience that some of our young people have not had before; a glorious day spent outside with nature, physical exercise and seeing a variety of animals in their natural habitats. During our visit to Wildwood many young people faced some of their own deepest fears and phobias head on, tackling great heights and critters such as various rodents. The day also included an interesting and educational talk on wolves, whish we all enjoyed and a lot of fun was had and energy burnt, in the play and climbing area! We all had a great day full of fun, education, exercise and fresh air. Feedback from the young attendees was also very positive, they said they thoroughly enjoyed it and loved seeing the animals . The young people behaved exemplary and were a credit to Sheppey Matters and a joy to all of the staff that accompanied them, we look forward to our next outing.
