Sheppey Dads Matters

Sheppey Dads Matters is a support group to enable dad’s, uncles, brothers, or any other male primary care givers who live on the Isle of Sheppey, to spend more time positively engaging with their children whether simply reading a book, playing games, and exploring the world together.

Their aims are to share and take part in activities with likeminded families.

The dads have been working with the community chef due to funding for over 5 years due to the great support from the Minerva Fund. We were lucky to have met the funders earlier this year and the nicest people you could ever meet.

Over the years we have come over problems like covid by providing videos, recipes, and vouchers to still produce a dish each month at home.

The group has grown in confidence, its also joyful seeing the children grow and them having the chance to try different or even new things!
