Every year we take on young people for volunteering and work experience and one such success is Ellis Stephenson. Ellis, 16 from Minster, came to us on work experience from the Oasis Academy Isle Of Sheppey and now has achieved his dream job of reporter with the KM Media Group.
Ellis said “Work experience for me at Sheppey Matters was an amazing opportunity with excellent staff who pushed me to do as much as I could. I think it really helped me get where I am today.”
We wish Ellis the best of luck in his new role reporting for Sheerness Times Guardian and Sittingbourne News Extra, we look forward to hearing more from him. Got a scoop or event to cover and need a reporter then Ellis can be contacted at estephenson@thekmgroup.co.uk
